WOW Cable Coming to Our Area - WideOpenWest (WOW) is in the process of providing service to residents of Orange Township.  Construction has begun on Powell Road and in our area. We asked Blaine Randles, New Business Development, about the time table for construction and when we could expect new service in our subdivision. •  The work should conclude within 30 to 45 days. We follow existing utility easements via an underground bore. Any and all landscape disruptions will be repaired.  All lines will be laid following the existing easements either front lot or back lot.   And service should be activated by late fall.   Questions or issues with workers or equipment on your property should be directed to Blaine Randles at b_randles20@wideopenwest.com, or visit their web site for information about their services.

Fences Around Development Repaired - Brian Steyer, V.P., Maintenance, reported to the trustees on July 9th that a number of  white fences around the perimeter of Oak Creek subdivision have been repaired. This includes installing 45 caps that were either missing or damaged, and approximately 10 boards were replaced. There are still approximately 10 posts that still need to be replaced, stated Steyer.

On Sunday, Sept. 14th, wind gusts up to 78 miles per hour left thousands in Delaware County and

Orange Township without power for up to a week. Downed power lines and damaged transmitters

caused much of the problems for our area.  Remnants of Hurricane Ike swept through Orange

Township, which closed schools for most of the week as power companies rushed to fix heavily

damaged areas.  Many of us witnessed damage to roofs and siding from homes, and much of anything

not anchored down tossed in the  wind.  Over 1 million people were affected by the storm in the central

Ohio area.  If anyone has pictures of the storm they’d like to share on our website, please contact us.
