Homeowners' Meeting Minutes
March 30, 2004
I. Welcome: By Scott Clifton at 7:05 at the Orange Township Hall.
II. Purpose of Annual Meeting: Election of Trustees
A. Introduction of Candidates: Candidates were introduced and a few words said by or on behalf of each.
B. Completion of Election Ballots
C. Counting and Certification of Ballots: Ballots were counted and certified by Glenn Tooman and Maureen Clifton. As a result of the balloting, the trustees for 2004-5 are (alphabetically) Scott Clifton, Gloria Gaskey, and Suzi Wagner.
III. Survey Results: The survey results and comments were discussed by Gloria Gaskey.
IV. Mail-In Ballot Result: Because we did not receive an affirmative vote from 67% of all members (residents) of the Association, the initiative to remove the language referring to Borror Corporation from the Code of Regulations was not passed. Please note that of those who voted, better than 90% supported the initiative.
V. 2003-4 Accomplishments: The activities and accomplishments for 2003-4 were highlighted
by both Scott and Gloria; namely, bids on ponds and landscaping and resulting contracts;
replacement of trees and additional trees in landscape easements, pond areas, and
common areas; updating of the 2 entranceway beds at Sedona North of E. Powell; removal
and maintenance of fountains; actions and meetings attended regarding Cameron Road
vs. E. Powell and 750 light, Condos at E. Powell and S. Old State; John and
Brian's
efforts regarding the electric and water planning for the North and South beds at
E. Powell west of S. Old State, etc.
VI. Items on Track for Summer 2004: Pond chemical maintenance, fountains up and running, conduit for fountain wiring, replacement of fence caps, electric and water for the beds at S. Old State North and South of E. Powell, and updating the bed North of E. Powell.
